More than Three Hundred Years on - The Infinite Series keeps Providing Finite Results

The world of mathematics got enriched by the way of introduction of Taylor Series Expansion (TSE) in 1715 which is just above three centuries ago. Ever since its advent it had been making inroads into the world of physics and facilitating explanation of several phenomenon.
The article is an attempt to sensitize the readers, in particular the undergraduate students of physics about the wide range of application of TSE. Here we have chosen examples from the area of Oscillation and Waves, Motion under Resistive Force and Alternative Current Circuit. Using TSE as a vehicle we have made an effort to draw linkages between mathematics and physics
