The `Error analysis} is one of the most important corner stone of the experimental physics which should be given proper attention in the undergraduate (UG) level. In most of the UG Physics (Hons) laboratories, the calculation of the error is often ended up with the calculation `{it Percentage Error}' without giving attention to the Standard Error which forms the basis of accepting or rejecting data. In this article we have discussed the methodology of calculating the Standard Error for common UG experiments in a pedagogical way.
