Estimating the Pressure of a Gas in a Balloon and Motion Through Resistive Media

In this paper we present a simple method to provide an estimate of the pressure of a gas in a balloon and also describe the dynamics of the balloon through resistive media. This paper draws on newtonian mechanics, fluid dynamics and thermodynamics and therefore is of considerable educational value especially for younger readers.
